For: Virgin Trains Digital
Breif: To redesign the Virgin Trains onboard WiFi pages in preparation for a WiFi network upgrade, and also to bring the style up to date with the look and feel of the mobile booking website.
Responsibilities: I was responsible for design and content and supplying pixel perfect psd visuals to agency Elvis to code.
Outcome: Most onboard WiFi users use small laptops, tablets or mobile devices. The new designs reflected this through different screen break points and use of bold icons, as well as being more up to date visually.
Poor band width was still a consideration at certain points on the rail network, so file sizes were kept small, and visual imagery kept to a minimum.
